Description

Hello everyone! KMU here, bringing you another meme that I'm taking part in! This time... it will be my official Top 10 Favourite Pokemon of all time! I've been playing Pokemon games for many years now, and throughout that time, I've managed to decide on which ten Pokemon are my absolute favourites! There have been many awesome contenders over the years for a place in my Top 10, so I've had to think really hard about which ones I like best. But finally, after all this time... I managed to do it, and although many sacrifices unfortunately had to be made... I think I'm pretty content with my final picks! These are the ten Pokemon that I just absolutely love and adore for many different reasons, and while this list may be subject to change in the future, for now at least... these are my official Top 10 Favourite Pokemon! But before I start explaining why I like each of them so much, I need to get a couple of disclaimers out there first...

I know I did another meme similar to this a few years ago, which was 'My Favourite Pokemon of Each Type'. However, like I said, that was quite a while ago and my opinions have changed a bit since then, thus making it outdated. Plus, I want people to refer to this meme if they would like to know which Pokemon are my favourites, which is why I took the other meme down. Also, even though I do play competitive Pokemon from time to time and I will be mentioning some competitive use here and there, my reasons for liking these Pokemon will go far beyond that, so don't worry... I'm not one of those people who only likes a Pokemon just for its viability. And finally... this Top 10 is strictly my opinion and my opinion only! These Pokemon are my genuine favourites, so if some of your favourite Pokemon don't show up on here, then feel free to let me know what your Top 10 Favourite Pokemon are in the comments below! Trust me, I'm all ears and I'm willing to hear your opinions, but only if you're respectful about it! Oh, and one more thing... the template for this meme was made by DemitriaMiriam, so all credit for the template goes to her and not me.

So, with all that said... it's time to find out why these ten Pokemon are my all time favourites! Let the gush fest begin! :D

#10 - Xatu
I've always been a huge fan of this Pokemon! I remember when I first saw Xatu back in Gold & Silver when I was a kid... I was battling against Elite Four Will for the first time, and when he sent out his Xatu, I was immediately fascinated by it! It had such an interesting and unique design, completely different from any other Pokemon I had seen beforehand. So of course, I wanted one of my own. However, being a naive little kid and not knowing the ins and outs of the game... I had no idea how to get it. Come on! I was just a kid! How was I supposed to know that Natu was hidden away in a secluded area of the Ruins of Alph?! So yeah... I wasn't actually able to use a Xatu during the Gold & Silver era, and it wasn't until Emerald that I was finally able-minded enough to find out where Natu resides in that game, which was in the Safari Zone. Yep, during my first playthrough of Emerald, I was able to use a Xatu, and boy... did it do wonders for me! Psychic/Flying is a pretty good Type combination that makes for some awesome resistances and Type coverage! And although Xatu's stats may be average at best, it still has a lot of decent options when it comes to its movepool! Seriously, Xatu's movepool is actually fairly diverse, especially in the current Generation! And it's because of this well-rounded movepool, along with its great typing and very cool Native American inspired design, that Xatu has always been a Pokemon worthy of my interest! But the main reason I love Xatu? It's because of one particular Xatu that was used in a co-op Let's Play of Pokemon Soul Silver that I was apart of on YouTube. That Xatu's name was 'Mandark', and man... he sure was a great team member! Oh yeah, that reminds me... I'm not normally one to do shameless plugs, but if you're curious about that Soul Silver co-op LP that I was apart of, then you can check it out here. You don't have to obviously, I'm just throwing it out there...

#09 - Tyrantrum
Aw yeah! Here we have my favourite fossil Pokemon of all time! The big bad powerhouse that is Tyrantrum! If you know me at all... then you should know that I'm a big fan of dinosaurs and prehistoric stuff in general! Seriously, as a kid, that kind of stuff was my absolute jam! Jurassic Park, Walking with Dinosaurs/Beasts, too many dinosaur figurines to count... the list goes on! So, because of my big fascination of prehistory, I am naturally inclined to enjoy the numerous different fossils Pokemon that the series has to offer! And while I did like a lot of them prior to Gen Six, I always felt like we could go one step beyond. That's right, I was one of those people who had been absolutely clambering for a T-Rex fossil Pokemon for the longest time! And low and beyond... along came Generation Six, and our wishes were granted! We finally got that T-Rex Pokemon that we had wanted for so long, and needless to say... they did not disappoint! Seriously, I definitely know that I'm not the only one who thinks that Tyrantrum is one of the coolest looking Pokemon out there! It's design stays very true to its origins, but adds a lot of key elements to set it apart from being just a generic looking T-Rex. The fact that they made it resemble a king with a crown-like crest and a big frilly collar was an excellent design choice! Not to mention, Tyrantrum just looks completely menacing and intimidating as well, as it should be! When it comes to battle capabilities... I feel like Tyrantrum delivers decently well. Sure, it's fairly slow and Rock/Dragon isn't the best defensive typing out there, but it does have a very impressive Attack stat and having access to Dragon Dance will definitely remedy its lackluster speed! So, all in all... Tyrantrum is just amazing! I mean, it's a T-Rex, and that fact alone is more than enough to make me love it! Honestly, if a Pokemon's design is inspired by any kind of prehistoric creature, it's more than likely going to win me over. And even though I like pretty much every fossil Pokemon out there (with Aurorus being a close second), Tyrantrum still takes the cake for me! It's my favourite fossil Pokemon and my 9th favourite Pokemon overall!

#08 - Scolipede
And here we have one of the many great Pokemon from Generation Five! Yes... I said it! Gen Five had a lot of great Pokemon, and nothing you say will make me think otherwise! Yep... for some reason, people seem to think that Gen Five is a cesspool of bad Pokemon designs, pointing to Pokemon like Garbodor and Vanilluxe as proof. However, I always have a hard counter to this stupid argument, because all I need to do is point to Pokemon like Scolipede and their argument is immediately invalid. Yes, Gen Five may have a few questionable designs here and there (JUST LIKE EVERY GENERATION), but it also had a huge, badass, menacing, 8ft tall killer centipede for crying out loud! And you're trying to tell me that a design like that isn't as good as your piles of sludge or PokeBalls with eyes from Gen One? Genwunners, ladies and gentlemen! Anyway, back to Scolipede, sorry for the rant. Like with Tyrantrum, Scolipede is up there as one of the coolest looking Pokemon I have ever seen! Being a fan of Bug-Types myself, it's always great to see a Bug Pokemon take the more menacing and powerful route than what Bug-Types usually end up being, and Scolipede is no exception to this! As I said, it stands at a colossal 8FT TALL, making it the tallest Bug-Type Pokemon currently out there! Needless to say, if you're afraid of centipedes, then the sight of Scolipede in real life would probably be enough to make you drop a load in your pants! That's just how intimidating this Pokemon is, and I love it for that! But Scolipede also has a lot of power to go along with its immense size! It may not have the most impressive stats out there, but its respectable Attack stat and great defensive typing of Bug/Poison will allow you to go very far with this guy! But perhaps most surprising about Scolipede has to be it's Speed! Yes, despite its sheer size and weight, Scolipede is actually quite quick on its feet, boasting a great speed of 112! Also, it has access to the ever so awesome Speed Boost as a Hidden Ability, which only adds to its battle prowess! But really... the main reason why I love Scolipede so much is mainly for its design, as I'm always a huge sucker for big badass Bug-Types that break away from the traditional weak early-game bugs that we're so used to seeing. Seriously, take one look at Scolipede and try telling me it's not one of the coolest things you've ever seen! I dare you!

#07 - Tapu Koko

With the recent release of Pokemon Sun & Moon, it has given rise to a lot of great new Pokemon! Some of my favourites from Alola include Decidueye, Salazzle, Golisopod, Kommo-o, and Solgaleo! But out of all the Alola Pokemon... one in particular impressed me so much that it had to be on this list. Yes... at Number Seven, we have the most recent member of my Top 10 Favourite Pokemon! The Guardian Deity of Melemele Island itself... Tapu Koko! There are a multitude of reasons for why I like this guy so much, with its amazing design being one of them! Seriously, Tapu Koko's design absolutely nails the essence of a Hawaiian God, drawing inspiration from totem poles and other Hawaiian traits. Also, the particular God in which Tapu Koko is based on, Kūkaʻilimoku, is known as the God of Conflict and has a great passion for battling, which is exactly how Tapu Koko is portrayed in the game! Not to mention, Kūkaʻilimoku is often represented by feathered idols, which explains Tapu Koko's rooster-like traits. Honestly... Tapu Koko easily has one of the most detailed and well thought out designs in all of Pokemon in my opinion. You can clearly tell that a lot of passion was put into this Pokemon's design, and it really paid off! But not only does Tapu Koko perfectly resemble a Hawaiian God, it also acts and behaves just like one, too! Tapu Koko is the guardian of Melemele Island and will valiantly protect it if anything bad should happen to it, as proven with the Ultra Beasts' invasion. However, Tapu Koko is also a rather fickle creature, and won't always come to someone's aid if they need help, only fighting for those it truly believes in. It also has a hair-trigger temper and is brimming with curiosity. It's traits like these that portray a flawed superhero, giving Tapu Koko a sense of depth which we don't see too often in other Legendary Pokemon... and that's exactly why I like and respect this Pokemon so much! Tapu Koko isn't just some perfect, over-powered God that will always come to save the day no matter what, as it does have flaws to its character, which makes it much more three dimensional in my opinion, and I love that! I don't have much to say about Tapu Koko's battle capabilities since I haven't used it yet, but as it possesses an amazing design and has one of the best origins of any Pokemon in my opinion... there was no way I was leaving it off this list! Tapu Koko may be recent, but it's still one of my favourties! Also, Tapu Koko as a playable character for the Switch port of Super Smash Bros 4... I'm calling it now!

#06 - Torterra
And here it is... my favourite Starter Pokemon of all time! The one and only Torterra! Now, when it comes to Starter Pokemon, most people's favourites are usually the typical stuff like Charizard, Blaziken, and Greninja. And while I certainly like and respect those Pokemon, as well as pretty much every other Starter Pokemon out there, my heart still belongs to the big badass tortoise from Generation Four! I feel like I'm in the minority with this choice, but you know what? I'm dang well proud of it! I honestly don't know what it is about Torterra that I like so much... maybe it's because tortoises are some of my favourite animals? Maybe it's because Grass is my second favourite Type after Dark? Maybe it's because Torterra was the first Starter I used in the Gen Four games so it has a lot of sentimental value for me? Maybe it's because Torterra holds the distinction of being the heaviest Starter Pokemon currently? Maybe it's because Torterra closely resembles the mythological World Turtles by having a tree on its shell and going by the utterly awesome classification as the 'Continent' Pokemon? Or maybe it's because Torterra has one of the coolest cries I have ever heard in Pokemon? Hm... I don't know why, but I just can't seem to put my finger on why Torterra is my favourite Starter and one of my favourite Pokemon of all time. Um... oh yeah! I remember now! The reason why I like Torterra so much? Its name. Seriously, just say its name with me... Torterra. If that isn't the best and most badass name of any Pokemon in existence... I don't know what is! Haha... but seriously, though, along with the amazing name, all those reasons I mentioned earlier are exactly why I love Torterra so much and why it has still remained as my favourite Starter Pokemon! As far as competitive viability goes? Torterra is unfortunately on the lower end of useful. It does boast some pretty good Attack and Defense stats, as well as having access to STAB Earthquake and reliable recovery in Leech Seed, but sadly... its extremely slow and can't really take special hits all too well. Not to mention, its typing makes it x4 weak to Ice, one of the most common offensive types in the game, which is NOT a good thing to have! But despite its sub-par competitive use, Torterra is still a favourite of mine and will always have a special place in my heart. And unless Game Freak makes an even more awesome Starter Pokemon in the future, then Torterra will most likely remain as my favourite Starter of all time!

#05 - Bisharp
Hey look! Another amazing Pokemon from Gen Five! Well, what do you know?! Anyway, as we now enter the Top 5, we have the sleek and badass Bisharp! Bisharp is one of those Pokemon that I loved from the moment I saw it, and how could I not? I mean... come on! Look at it! As with a lot of these entries so far, Bisharp is up there as having one of the coolest designs of any Pokemon in my opinion! Not only does it look like a threatening Pokemon that will cut you up in a matter of seconds, but I love how its design takes inspiration from a variety of different sources! First, Bisharp clearly resembles that of a traditional Japanese bandit, specifically a leader, as shown by its PokeDex entry. Also, many of its design features bare a lot of resemblance to samurai armour, and if you take a lot at Bisharp's head and legs, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. I don't know about you guys... but the combination of a samurai and a Japanese bandit leader easily makes for one of the most badass Pokemon designs I have ever seen! But wait... it gets even better, as Bisharp's name is also extremely clever! Of course, its name is a combination of 'bishop' and 'sharp', with a bishop being a piece in chess. And not only that, but akin to Pawniard evolving into Bisharp, a 'pawn' in chess can be promoted into a bishop piece if it reaches the opponent's side of the board. And since Pawniards often form groups around one Bisharp leader in hopes of one day becoming a Bisharp themselves... it all blends together to make one of the best backstories of any Pokemon I have ever seen! Seriously, Bisharp is up there with Tapu Koko as having one of the best overall designs and origins in the entire series! In fact, it actually amazes me just how much thought and detail went into this particular Pokemon, as I never really noticed it at first. But the more I looked into Bisharp and the more I used it in battle... I slowly began to respect and appreciate just how utterly detailed this Pokemon's design is! And since I mentioned it... let's talk battle properties, because man... does Bisharp sure deliver! Yes, its x4 weakness to Fighting sucks big time... but thankfully, Bisharp has a lot of things going for it that save it from being useless! Boasting great Attack and Defense stats, possessing powerful STAB moves in Sucker Punch and Iron Head, as well as having access to a variety of coverage moves and a really awesome Ability in Defiant... it all makes Bisharp an extremely powerful threat on the battlefield! Trust me... Bisharp is so good, that back in Gen Five, it single-handedly carried me through a vast majority of Super Single Battles in the Battle Subway! Ah... those were some good times. So yeah, with a borderline perfect design and some excellent battle capabilities as well... Bisharp stands tall as one of my Top 5 Favourite Pokemon of all time! Ha! See? Told ya Gen Five had a lot of great Pokemon!

#04 - Luxray
Coming in at Number Four, we have a Pokemon that actually means quite a lot to me... and for good reason. It was the first Pokemon that made me truly appreciate how good a Pokemon's design can be rather than just seeing it as nothing more than a battle tool. Hailing from the Fourth Generation, we have the fantastic 'Gleam Eyes' Pokemon... Luxray! Okay guys, real talk for a second here... I'm dead serious in what I'm about to say here, and although I know that many people will probably disagree with me on what I'm about to say, I'm just being totally honest and its how I genuinely feel. Luxray, in my opinion... has the overall best design of any Pokemon I have ever seen. Yep, that's right! Even though it may not be my absolute favourite Pokemon ever, it still holds the title of best designed Pokemon in my opinion. Look... you can say all you want about Gen Four, but you cannot deny that it had some great Pokemon! Torterra, Lucario, Garchomp, Staraptor, Giratina, Darkrai... and of course, my favourite 4th Gen Pokemon and one of my favourite Pokemon period... Luxray! Like I said before, Luxray was the first Pokemon whose design I really truly admired. Back when I was younger, I always did think that certain Pokemon looked really cool like Xatu and Scyther, but my admiration for their designs never really went beyond that. I just liked how they looked. However... by the time Gen Four arrived, I was a little bit older and more capable of truly appreciating a good Pokemon design, and when I caught a Shinx on my first run of Diamond... I knew something special would come from it. As I continued to use Shinx and later Luxio, I was always pondering on what its evolution would look like, which made me all the more excited and eager to find out! And then... once my Luxio hit Lv. 30, it evolved... and it was then that I first laid eyes on what I believed to be the coolest looking thing I have ever seen... that being Luxray! I was immediately enamored. I fell in love with it from the moment I saw it. My eyes lit up like stars at the sight of this gorgeous Pokemon! I was so overjoyed that my Shinx had turned into something so utterly awesome! Seriously guys... just look at this Pokemon's design! A sleek and stylish electric lynx with beautiful black fur, a glare that even Legendaries tremble at, and a possible reference to the constellation of Leo with a star shape on the end of its tail. Now, I'm normally one to respect other people's opinions, but honestly... if you are not at all impressed by Luxray's design in any way... then what the heck is wrong with you? Seriously? So, after being completely blown back by how cool this Pokemon was, I naturally kept using it throughout the rest of my playthrough, and it stayed with me all the way to the very end! It was at that moment where I would later go to start really appreciating good Pokemon designs, so in a way, if it hadn't been for Luxray captivating me so much back then... I probably would still think of Pokemon as just mere battling tools. So yeah... that's why Luxray means a lot to me and why it's currently my 4th favourite Pokemon of all time. To me, its design is absolutely flawless and there is nothing wrong with it whatsoever! If I do have one nitpick with Luxray, it would be that it kind of sucks competitively. Yeah, it does have an immense Attack stat and some great Abilities in Guts and Intimidate... but what really hinders it is its lackluster Speed and shallow movepool. Not to mention, its completely outclassed by other physical Electric-Types like Electivire and Elektross. So yeah... the fact that Luxray is not good competitively kind of stinks, but regardless, that has very little to do with my admiration for it! It's still one of my favourites purely for its flawless design alone! Honestly, if Luxray was actually good, it would have been a perfect Pokemon in my opinion! But alas... hopefully Game Freak will give it some kind of buff in the future, which is something that I'm absolutely clambering for! Please! Just make Luxray good! That's all I'm asking!

#03 - Scyther
Yeah... if you know me at all, then you should have seen this one coming! For the longest time, Scyther used to be my overall favourite Pokemon. However, that was only a light ruse until I eventually revealed what my true favourite Pokemon was some time later, so Scyther was bumped down to Number Two. But then, after my love for a certain other Pokemon was starting to grow more and more by the day, it slowly began to override my love for Scyther to eventually take the Number Two spot, knocking Scyther down the third place. So yeah... even though Scyther has been bumped down a few places on my favourites list over the years, that sure as heck doesn't mean I don't love it any less! Because I do! Quite a lot, in fact! And hey, even though it's been knocked down a few places, being my 3rd favourite Pokemon of all time when there is so much competition out there is still very high honour enough! So yeah, as you can clearly tell, Scyther has always been one of my all time favourites since day one! Like with Scolipede, it's another one of those big badass Bug-Types that take the more menacing and powerful direction, which I really appreciate! Seriously, take one look at Scyther, and try telling me it's not intimidating, because you can't! It's a giant mantis-like killing machine that boasts incredible speed and has huge scythes for arms! Let me repeat that... IT HAS SCYTHES FOR ARMS!!! Awesome or what?! Plus, what makes Scyther even cooler is that fact that it doesn't need to evolve in order to be good on the battlefield, as it is more than capable of holding its own in battle! Sure, Scizor may have a better typing and boast more Attack and Defense, but Scyther does have a few things over Scizor that really sets it apart, mainly its Speed! Trust me, Scyther sure is one heck of a Speed demon, and combined that with its respectable Attack stat and the fact that it can use the Eviolite item very effectively... Scyther isn't just some measly little pre-evolution that's going to go down without a fight! True, it does have a x4 weakness to Stealth Rock which is a huge hindrance... but if you look past that flaw, you've got one heck of a powerful and speedy battler at your side! Take it from someone who has had countless experiences in using Scyther! Needless to say... there's a very good reason why I've made a pledge to always use a Scyther whenever I play through a Pokemon game as long as it's available! It's been one of my favourites ever since I first saw it back in Gen One, and it will always remain as one of my favourites for all eternity!

#02 - Celebi
I love this Pokemon. I love everything about it. In fact, I don't just love Celebi... I absolutely adore it. I have so much love for this Pokemon that I can get pretty emotional about it sometimes... yes, I'm serious. But why exactly do I love Celebi so much? Well, believe it or not, it's mostly for trivial reasons, but I will go over its design and its origins first of all, as I feel like they are both worth mentioning. For starters, Celebi has got to be one of the most mysterious and elusive Pokemon in existence, as it's one of those Pokemon that isn't too often distributed throughout the Pokemon games. The most notable example being the GS Ball event in Pokemon Crystal which was never released outside of Japan. And while I wish that Celebi was easier to access sometimes because I would love to have one of my own, honestly... I actually really like how elusive and mysterious it is! Think about it... Celebi's design is clearly based on forest deities that watch over and protect the forest, but rarely show themselves before humans. It could also bare a resemblance to forest fairies often spoken of in old mythological tales. So, if you ask me, I think how elusive Celebi can be sometimes fits perfectly with the theme of its design, which is what makes me love even more than I already do! Seriously, in my opinion, Celebi has got to have one of the most endearing and captivating designs of all Pokemon! While I still like Luxray's design a little more, Celebi's charming and gorgeous appearance has always put a smile on my face for so many years! Seriously, in my opinion... Celebi = Most Beautiful Pokemon Ever. FIGHT ME! Oh yeah, and since it's a forest guardian, it's also a Grass-Type... which gives it extra bonus points for me! And to be honest... if Fairy existed back in Gen Two, I feel like that Type would suit Celebi much more than Psychic. But that's just a minor nitpick, and it does not take away any of the love that I have for this Pokemon! Besides, I'm fine with Psychic anyway! But like I said before, while Celebi's design and origins are absolutely top notch, I mostly like this Pokemon for trivial reasons, and here they are: The first time I ever laid eyes on Celebi was in the 4th Pokemon Film, 'Celebi: Voice of the Forest'. I remember enjoying it as a kid, but what really made me enjoy it was seeing Celebi for the very first time! I LOVED Celebi's character in that film and I was always excited whenever it would come on screen! I remember that I would always watch the film over and over just because I never got tired of Celebi! As a matter of fact, after all these years, 'Celebi: Voice of the Forest' is currently the only Pokemon film I have on DVD. I like to watch it from time to time, but it's mainly just so I can see Celebi in action as many times as I want! Another reason why I love Celebi is because of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, specifically... the Shiny Celebi! Seriously, I absolutely fell in love with Shiny Celebi's character from Mystery Dungeon and I wanted to protect her with my life! She just captivated me that much! Then there's also Pokemon Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness, where Celebi resided in the Relic Forest and would purify your shadow Pokemon for you. The reason why I love these moments so much? Because it gave rise to this music, which is one of my favourite soundtracks in video game history. Seriously, whenever I think of this theme, I think of Celebi, and why I love it so much. In fact, it actually makes me tear up sometimes. Honestly... after all this gushing I've done, it may have left you wondering why Celebi isn't Number One? Well, I have a reason for that. As much as I adore this Pokemon with all my heart, there's one problem... I've never actually owned one. Yep, even though I admire how elusive Celebi can be sometimes, it also pains me greatly that I almost never get a chance to have one for my own! Of course, I was very salty after learning that the Celebi event in Pokemon Crystal was never released outside of Japan, and the fact that Celebi is rarely distributed and is so hard to obtain makes me even more salty! I really wish I had one of my own, as I am absolutely dying to try it out in battle sometimes! But more important than that... I just want to have my 2nd favourite Pokemon besides me at all time. Seriously, I completely and utterly adore Celebi and I'm so glad it exists! So, if I had one of my own, that would just be the icing on the cake! Hopefully Game Freak will release another Celebi event sometime soon... because I'm desperate to have it now! I would also kill for a Celebi plush, too!

#01 - Absol
Yep... this one was a no-brainer. Everyone knows what my favourite Pokemon of all time is by now, but for those of you who don't... here it is! My Number One Favourite Pokemon is none other than the ever-so awesome Absol! Let me just start off by saying that the title for my favourite Pokemon is an extremely close tussle between Absol and Celebi. However, the one advantage Absol has over Celebi is that I'm actually able to use one in game because Absol is much easier to obtain, which gives me a little bit more of an attachment to it. But I still love them both just as much, so it's no big deal really! Anyway, what can I honestly say about Absol that I haven't already said before... everything about it is just pure perfection! From its sleek and killer design, to its amazing battle capabilities, to its tragic backstory, to its breathtakingly beautiful Mega Evolution, to the fact that its a Dark-Type, to the fact that it was the first ever Dark-Type Pokemon I ever used in game... there are so many reasons why Absol has won my heart on SO many occasions and why it still remains as my absolute favourite Pokemon in existence! Like I said, Absol's design is up there as one of the best in my opinion! I still think Luxray's design is a little bit better, but Absol's perfectly portrays that of a mysterious creature that wonders the mountains where it was banished to, and its snow white fur is also just extremely pleasant to look at sometimes, especially in the Anime! But Absol is not only beautiful, it is also completely badass as well! Those razor-sharp claws and that blade-like horn on its head prove that this is a Pokemon you do NOT want to mess with! Trust me, Absol shows no mercy to its enemies, so angering it will probably be the LAST thing you'll ever do! And as I said before, Mega Absol is easily my favourite Mega Evolution and one of the most beautiful Pokemon ever made in my opinion! Those wings and that long droop of hair at the front... you know this is a Pokemon that deserves respect, and it sure as heck has mine! Also, Absol is no slouch on the battlefield either! Sure, it can't take hits to save its own life, but its offensive capabilities are through the roof! Boasting an insanely high Attack stat and having access to a ton of powerful coverage and priority moves, as well having the ever-so awesome Super Luck as an Ability... Absol is truly a force to be reckoned with and should NOT be taken lightly! Plus, Mega Absol only adds to its competitive use by increasing its stats and now having the amazing Magic Bounce as an Ability! Seriously, I've had SO much fun using Absol and Mega Absol in competitive wi-fi battles, as it has won me quite a few battles and has pulled me thought so many tight situations! Plus, it's also a ton of fun to use in the actual games as well! Sure, it can be tricky to find and catch at times, but once you eventually come across one and add it to your team... it'll definitely be worth it! Trust me! So, overall... Absol is just plain phenomenal! Its design is amazing, its great to use in battle, its backstory is very interesting, it represents my favourite Type... it's just the epitome of Pokemon perfection in my opinion! Ever since I first laid eyes on it when I played Sapphire as I kid... I knew I made the right decision in naming it my favourite Pokemon and I knew the two of us would go a long way! Everything about Absol is just amazing! And that is why it is and forever will be my Number One Favourite Pokemon of all time! Honestly, Absol is more than just a Pokemon to me. It's pretty much become my child... and I couldn't be more proud!

So, there we go, ladies and gentleman! Those are my Top 10 Favourite Pokemon with descriptions on why they're my favourites! Man... that wen't on for a little while, didn't it? Sorry, it's just that when I'm talking about my favourite things, I tend to get a little passionate and feel the need to explain things in great detail... so please, do forgive me for this mountain of text that I made you sit through. Anyway, thanks for checking out this meme, guys! And once again, what are you ten favourite Pokemon of all time? If you'd like to share your opinions, then please leave them in the comments below, as I would love to know which Pokemon are your favourites and discuss with you on why you like them so much! However, please be respectful about it! I'm doing this solely for fun, not to start flame wars with anyone, okay? Because remember... we're all Pokemon nerds at the end of the day, so let's just embrace the fact the we're lucky to be apart of this wonderful franchise and share our enjoyment among everyone else in the community!

So! Once again, thanks for checking in, guys! I should hopefully have some more deviations up here soon, but that depends on how much free time my job will allow me to have... but until then, I'll catch you guys later! Peace out and long live Pokemon!
